The Brendoncare Foundation has ten care homes located across the south of England which provide nursing and residential care as well as respite, dementia and specialist end of life care. All of Brendoncare’s services are dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people, offering choice and variety. Brendoncare Froxfield care home in Wiltshire has been purposefully designed to enable older people to live independent, happy and fulfilling lives. A donation of £2,000 was given in 2016 to purchase a TX30 Care Chair for a resident with specific physical needs. The specialist chair offers the physical support and comfort needed for the resident to spend more time in communal areas of the home and to take part in activities. A senior carer at Froxfield said: ‘The resident is able to socialise and interact so much more in the home and in the gardens, especially with close family who are so grateful for the provision of the chair.’
