A donation of £1,000 was given in 2017 to a Crafternoons project which is attended by up to 35 people each day. Many different crafts have been tried and some skills are being passed on, including lace-making. Attendees have made new friends and are therefore able to car-share to get to Heron Corn Mill. ‘The grant has meant a lot to our local community.’
