Listening Books, based in London, supplies mini-libraries of audiobooks on MP3 CD players to hospices free of charge. This service aims to help relieve pain, boredom and loneliness. The charity was awarded £2000 to fund an audiobook mini-library of 200 titles to Ayrshire Hospice in Scotland. The mini-library of CDs is aimed at benefitting those who find it hard to hold a book, turn pages or read.
