Shapeshifter Productions received a grant in 2018 to assist the charity in its delivery of participatory music sessions to 17 different care homes and day centres. The aim of the Smiling Sessions is to improve well-being, build confidence, and support friendships. Support staff noted that participants ‘who would normally stay in their rooms, joined in – smiling, singing and dancing.’
